To avoid the congestion in Nagoya due to the G20, we headed in the opposite direction and visited a yakitori restaurant near Kozoji Station. The store is small, but the counter seats are full. Immediately after entering the store, the entire store was filled with smoke and I wondered what was going to happen, but it calmed down after a while. I took it easy and ordered as usual since I can order from 1 bottle at a time. It seems like they are baked in order of order, so it takes a while for your order to arrive. While grilling over charcoal, the owner also handles other cooking tasks. The work is commendable. He has a stern expression, but once he calms down, a gentle smile can be seen. It is grilled slowly over medium heat, leaving the surface soft and the inside still a bit rare.
