Western Cuisine is located about a 3-minute walk from Meitetsu Otagawa Station. I went there for lunch on a weekend. There are 5 counter seats and 6 tables. I was the first one there at 11:00, just after the opening time, but it seemed like there were many reservations. The lunch menu includes the weekly lunch, two kinds of shrimp and crab cream Croquette, seafood mix fries, Hamburg Steak and crab cream Croquette, Omelette Rice, sauteed rib roast of Aichi Prefecture's Sangen pork, pea fillet cutlet, beef skirt Steak and crab cream Croquette, Chita beef stew and shrimp cream Croquette, and more. All of the dishes come with bread or rice, soup, and salad, and are priced between 1,430 yen and 2,750 yen. I ordered Hamburg Steak and crab cream Croquette. This combination of Hamburg steak and crab croquette is a golden combination for me, so I would order it without hesitation if I had this set. Hamburg is crispy on the outside, with a fluffy, soft, melting texture inside, and you can really enjoy the rich meat flavor. This Hamburg steak is similar to the taste of a Western Western Cuisine that I used to love in Nagoya, so it's a perfect hit for me. The crab cream Croquette also has a very smooth béchamel sauce inside a crispy batter, and although you can't see it in the photo, the crab claws are peeking out and the crab flavor is strong, so this was also delicious. I like rare Hamburg, but recently there have been quite a few restaurants that serve rare Hamburg, so I've been wanting to eat a real Hamburg that has a THE Western Cuisine feel to it, and Hamburg here is my favorite type, and I was very satisfied.
