愛知県半田市でコーヒーブレイク。
行って来たのは「カフェ＆ベーカリー フーガス」。
店舗は表通りから外れた目立たない場所に有ります。
お店に着いたのは13時頃。
40席も有る店内はランチタイムで結構賑わっていました。
ランチ利用で無い事を告げて、テーブル席に陣取ります。
注文はブレンドコーヒーとケーキプレート。
待つ事10分でお料理が供されます。
ブレンドコーヒー欲しい柔らかい苦味。
酸味は微かで私好みではありますが、
ケーキと合わせるにはちょっと弱いかも…。
コーヒーには、お茶菓子のパンプディングが添えられていました。
小さいのですが、中はしっかりと詰まっていて、
濃厚で甘味も強く、これだけでコーヒー一杯は飲めちゃいそうです。
こんな重いお茶菓子が付くなら、
ケーキプレートは止めておいても良かったかもですね。
ケーキプレートは、自家製のシフォンケーキとガトーショコラ、
バニラアイスにピンクグレープフルーツ、キウイ、バナナ。
かなりの豪華版ですね。
シフォンケーキは口当たりの軽さが良いですね。
甘さ控えめで、添えられたアイスクリームとの相性が抜群です。
ガトーショコラは濃厚なチョコレートの旨味。
チョコレートを活かすためか、甘味は極限まで抑えられています。
こちらもアイスクリームと一緒に頂くと美味しいですね。
満足の行くコーヒーブレイクでした。
次回はランチで訪れたいお店ですね。
