香嵐渓のある足助の町にやってきました。
あと１ヵ月もすると、香嵐渓は紅葉の行楽客で大変なにぎわいになります。
今日は自転車でポタリングする予定があいにくの雨。
それでは食事だけでもと、こちらのお店「桃屋」にやってきました。
先週仲間の一人がこちらに寄った話を聞いたからです。
折しもこの日は足助祭り、
お店の裏手にある旅籠と書かれている古い旅館に幕が張られていました。
開店を待ってお店に入ります。 店内は木を多く使った構えです。
昨年の香嵐渓の新聞切り抜きが貼ってあります。

日替わりランチをお願いします！
出てきました。
期待を裏切らない品数です。
さしみだけでも７種類。 数えると２２種類もありました。
ボリュームも満点です。
これで、７５０円です。
コーヒーも付いたそうですが、日替わりランチのせい？か この日はありませんでした。
それでも食べきれないほどの量で、若い人向きです。（お客は年配者ばかりでしたが）
桃屋で食事を終えて近くにある栗拾いの出来る栗園へ買い物に。
あと柿を売っていれば、桃栗・柿と三拍子となる 食べドライブでした。
