I have a weakness for the words "kappo" and "small cuisine." The real thrill of kappo is the catball over the counter about professional techniques and ingredients with Mr. Itamae. When I think of small dishes, I think of my partner's "flower village". It's fun to have a conversation with the landlady in a small space. Opened on September 28 near Meitetsu Toyota City Station, "Small Cuisine Mamean Station South Store". The South store means that there is a store in front of the station. The store in front of the station is highly trusted by the local "lunch madam" for lunch at noon, and reservations are required. This one, which has just opened, is an image of a Kyoto townhouse in the back alley in front of Toyota Station restaurant The first floor is a counter with about 9 seats, and there is a yakata (kitchen) in the back. There are seats on the second floor, but the most popular thing is the conversation with the proprietress at the counter. The proprietress is a landlady who loves local sake and has a lot of knowledge. It makes you drink comfortably. There is no price indication for sake, but it is about 850 yen per drink. The local sake we received was sake from the sake brewery Taki Boast (Nabari City) Junmai Sake PROUD Autumn to Winter (Yeast / Mie Yeast MK-5) and the sake of Yamaru Akabano Town Unfiltered Raw Etsukaijin Junmai Sake (Maruo Honten Co., Ltd., Kotohira Town, Nakatado District, Kagawa Prefecture). The sake that left a lasting impression on me in particular was the unfiltered raw Etsukaijin using yeast Kumamoto No. 9. Although it is a junmai sake, it has a scent and plump like ginjo incense. Unexperienced zone, surprising "Junmai sake". At the end of the Edo period, Shinsaku Takasugi and Kogoro Katsura were hiding in a sake brewery. It might be a good idea to think about history and drink. In the dishes, the oyster gratin and beef streak radish that I ordered are also a higher taste that is not found in Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). A small restaurant that is highly recommended.
