This time, I would like to introduce you to Mamean, a small dish in front of Toyota City Station. I had Fried food for lunch today, so I wanted to eat something a little lighter, so I'd like to have a drink at a small restaurant tonight (laughs). On Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at 9 p.m., two adults visited us. At that time, I called in advance in the late evening and secured a seat. According to Toyoda's juniors, they always said that there were no decent stores in Toyota City, but I finally found a store that dispelled that. This shop opened in September 2016 and has only been around for a year. It is a two-story building in the style of a machiya, with 9 seats at the counter and 60 tatami seats in the dugout, which is restaurant larger than I expected. I wanted to sit at the counter on the first floor, but I was sent to the tatami room on the second floor. As usual, we toasted with draft beer (550 yen) and grapefruit juice (350 yen). Pumpkin tofu came out for the passage. The first thing I ordered was soaked lotus grass (450 yen), new ginkgo (550 yen), assorted rice (1250 yen), boiled conger eel (850 yen), and beef tendon ponzu sauce (550 yen). The first thing that was brought was ginkgo. I had my first one, but the balance of sweetness and bitterness is good~ It is exactly the taste of adults. Next, soaked lotus grass, beef tendon ponzu sauce, and boiled conger eel were brought. All of them taste passable. The assortment is beautifully presented, but the taste is a little unsatisfactory for me, who is used to eating the Seto Inland Sea. The atmosphere is good for now, but as for the taste... That's the impression ~ Next, I added a dashi rolled egg (500 yen), Mikawa chicken grilled with salt (700 yen), and a pickle platter (500 yen). At this point, two highballs (400 yen) are drunk by the companion. The pickle platter is a rather unusual combination of rakkyo and chanja, sawaan, iburigakko, and umeboshi. I'm a little disappointed with the bizarre presentation on the round plate. The dashi rolled egg has no flavor and is overcooked and hard. The Mikawa chicken salt grill was the most delicious of the day~ However, I can only say that it is a pity about the overall presentation. This time, I ordered 1 draft beer, 2 highballs, plum wine soda, 2 grapefruit juices, and the above, and paid 9234 yen at the checkout. I understand that Mamean is aiming to create a cozy restaurant with a very good atmosphere, but my honest impression is that the quality of the food was lower than expected. It's a shame because I was expecting it. I paid 400 yen for the parking lot because I parked in a nearby coin parking lot. Please refer to it. It was a treat.
