I had been interested in this restaurant for some time, so I stopped by for dinner when I came to Anjo. The location is at the northwest corner of the Shinmei-cho Higashi intersection in Anjo City, Aichi Prefecture. The restaurant is somewhat dimly lit and has the atmosphere of a stylish teppan Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). We ordered a variety of Monja-yaki, Okonomiyaki, Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles) etc. Monja-yaki is exquisitely delicious if you grill the mentaimochi cheese until it is well browned. The horumon Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles) is served ready-made, but since I had a griddle available, I tried grilling it again and it turned out crispy and delicious. I chose pork balls for Okonomiyaki, and it was just as delicious. Other Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) menu items such as salads and fried chicken were also quite delicious. Recommended for dining in the area around Anjo Station.
