お店は幹線道路沿いではなく、狭い道を曲がった先にあります。
交通量が意外と多いです。
スピードを出して走ってくる車もいて、ヒヤッとしました。
カフェは2階にありました。
土曜日の１１時半ごろ入りました。
食べ終わったお客さんが一組いるだけでした。
その後食べ終わるまで他のお客さんは誰も来ませんでした。
食事メニューが無いことが大きいかもしれません。
私は昼ごはん代わりにＳＡＢＯ葵パフェ（980円）を注文しました。
飲み物は紅茶を注文。
お茶屋さんらしく和紅茶でした。
パフェは下の方が寒天、ゼリーでした。
甘党の方が上げ底パフェと呼ばれるタイプでしたが、私のように甘いものをそんなに食べられない人にはちょうど良いと思いました。
抹茶アイスは濃厚ですが、食べやすくておいしいです。
甘いもの得意ではない私でもこれならたくさん食べられてしまいそうです。
西尾は抹茶の産地としての知名度はありませんが、京都でこのレベルの抹茶スイーツを食べようとしたら行列覚悟でもっとお金を払わないと済まないだろうな、と食べながら思ってしまいました。
最初にビニール袋を渡されました。
感染対策で、出たごみは渡された袋に自分で入れるようになっていました。
この日は茶器が店内にたくさん飾られていました。
カフェのある２階は高級茶器中心に並んでいました。
子どもが触らないように注意書きがあちこちにありました。
びっくりしたのは１００万円を超えるような茶器がいくつも売約済み。
お金もあるところにはあるんだな、と改めて思ってしまいました…
私のような茶器の素人でも、高級茶器を見た後では1階に一般向け茶器がみな安っぽく見えてしまいました(-_-;)
