This was my first visit to Imozo, which is always crowded, but it seemed to be relatively empty. When you open the door, you are greeted by shochu bottles lined up on both sides of the aisle. The restaurant has semi-private rooms for two people, fully private rooms for large groups, and counter seats that are separated from the table seats, so it seems convenient. Was it a mistake to think that the counter seat was empty because there were three customers with them? Most of the dishes were from Kyushu, and there was some Taiyaki Ramen I wanted to try, but I wasn't that hungry and felt like I was going to leave it behind, so I gave up. So, below are the dishes I received. Appetizer ¥400 Horse sashimi (lean meat) ¥880 Mustard lotus root ¥580 Chazuke with chin soup (Takana) ¥480 Oolong tea ¥400 Total price: ¥2,959 (tax included) Almost half price due to discount ¥1,587 I don't know the details of the period, but I wonder if it's during a campaign? is 100 yen, and the food menu is 50% off (excludes otoshi, which is considered a charge fee), which is a great deal. Horse sashimi is high in protein, low in calories, and low in fat, making it perfect for middle-aged and elderly people. Red meat is light and may be easy to eat even for people who don't like raw meat. However, I used to eat horse sashimi at a restaurant in Iida that mainly sells horse meat, and it was really delicious, and I've tried it several times since then, but I haven't found anything that rivals it, and it's a shame that it was the same this time. I've been eating it quite a bit since it's close by and I have an acquaintance from Kyushu, but I've never tried mustard lotus root. It's a lot thinner than I expected, and doesn't have the crunchy texture of lotus root, but is this the standard? In the end, the best thing was Ochazuke(boiled rice with tea)with mustard greens, a rather sad result. Should I have used millet instead of horse sashimi?
