Our restaurant offers a service where you can enjoy authentic Indian and Nepalese cuisine at a good price. We also offer great deals at night, such as a curry dinner set and all-you-can-eat and drink |
This is an Indian and Nepalese Cuisine in Toyohashi City. It is located near Toyohashi Railway Noyagiyūbashi Station. There is a parking lot on the premises, so it seems convenient to go by car. I was interested in Indian Curry buffet, which seems to be held all the time, so I tried it. There are two types of buffets: Lunch Buffet A for 980 yen and Lunch Buffet B for 1,280 yen. The difference is whether or not it includes tandoori dishes. This time, I had a coupon that made Lunch Buffet B 980 yen, so I ordered B. The all-you-can-eat dishes are: ・3 types of curry ・16 types of naan ・Rice ・Pakora ・Nepalese-style Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles) ・Chili chicken ・Salad ・Chicken salad ・Nepalese-style kimchi ・Papad ・Soup In addition to the all-you-can-eat dishes, Lunch Buffet B also offers one each of ・Shish kebab ・Tandoori chicken ・Malaitikka . The menu says there are two types of curry and two types of naan, but in reality there are three types of curry and 16 types of naan. I don't understand anymore. ◯ Food and taste... The quality is as you would expect from a buffet, so the cost is kept down, but it was delicious. As for the naan, it's not affected by the buffet, so there's no problem. I ate a lot of different dishes and naan, and was very satisfied. ・Three types of curry On the day, the lineup was keema curry, taro curry, and chicken curry. The keema and taro were tomato-based, and the chicken was onion-based. All three types were basically creamy and easy to eat. They were quite heavy. I don't know if it was to save money or if the previous customer had taken it, but the ingredients for each curry were like a treasure hunt. It was hard to find. The keema was spicy, the chicken was mild, and the taro curry had the thickness and sweetness of potato. ・Naan As expected, it's impossible to try everything, so I carefully selected the basics and the ones that caught my eye, and ordered butter naan, cheese naan, white naan, AKB naan, and CKB naan. The size is about two-thirds of the normal size. The butter naan is plain naan with butter spread on it. It's a shame that it wasn't a croissant type, but it was thin but chewy and delicious. The cheese naan was a soft and not sweet type. It was delicious without fail. The white naan was a pretty surreal dish, just plain naan topped with fresh cream. It looked like Western confectionery, and the combination was bound to be delicious. The AKB naan was what they call honey cheese coconut naan. I don't know why it was called that. It was mostly honey cheese naan, with only a small amount of coconut. The CKB naan was what they call chocolate cheese coconut naan. Generally, chocolate naan is made with a lot of chocolate in the naan dough, but this one has a thin layer of chocolate sauce on top of the naan, which is a somewhat innovative style. It looks like Okonomiyaki. This also had only a small amount of coconut, so it was like a cheese naan with a slight chocolate flavor. ・Rice It was ordinary Japanese rice (white rice). ・Pakora It was Indian Tempura. It was bright red and had a strong coloring. I wonder what was inside? It was quite hard, so I'm not sure.・Nepalese-style Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles) noodles A lot of tomato (ketchup?) is used, and Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles) are almost like Neapolitan. However, this is quite good. ・Chili chicken Chicken and onion stir-fried with tomatoes. This is also full of tomato flavor and the sauce is rich. Sweet and spicy and delicious. The crunchy onions are also good, and I think it's okay to eat this with naan or rice instead of curry. ・Salad Cabbage and radish. Orange dressing, a standard at Indian Curry restaurants. It has a strong flavor, so it goes well with vegetables. ・Chicken salad It's like chicken with onions and other vegetables mixed with mayonnaise. You have to look hard to find the chicken. You can eat it as it is, but it's delicious if you mix it with Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles) or chili chicken and make it like mayonnaise. ・Nepalese-style kimchi Curry-style pickled radish. It's simple. ・Papad Thin bean Senbei (rice crackers). ・Soup I didn't drink it so I don't know. ・Tandoori chicken Sizzling on the hot plate. It's piping hot. However, this is tandoori chicken or chicken tikka. It's spicy and dry. It's quite good. ・Malai tikka This is also hot. It's milder than chicken tikka. ・Shish kebab This is Meat Dishes that's more like meatballs or sausages. It has a mild taste and is delicious. ◎Service...The buffet is always open. In addition to curry and salad, they also have chili chicken and fried Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles), and I was surprised at the large number of types of naan (it seems like they're just bulking up the same ingredients, and they have chocolate garlic naan and anything goes...). There was something on the wall that said checking social media was a condition for ordering naan, but it didn't matter and they said "everything is OK". The buffet style is basically prepared in advance, but they never ran out of food, and the naan is made to order, so it's hot and very well done. The waiter was a local, and although he wasn't the most friendly type, he was considerate and I don't have a bad impression of him. ○Atmosphere...The restaurant is Restaurants type in a single house, with table seats and tatami mat seats. Rather than being stylish, it has a moderate retro feel and is calm, and personally, I think this is just the right atmosphere. It seems to be quite popular, with about 70-80% of the customers attending during lunchtime. ◎Value for money...Even though I used a coupon, all this food and all this came to less than 1,000 yen. It's a very good value for money. ◎Overall...If you're looking for quantity, variety, and value for money rather than quality, this is the place for you. I was impressed by the wide variety of naan, including the mysterious "White Naan," "AKB Naan," and "CKB Naan," the chili chicken that seems to go better with naan than curry, and the amazing value for money. There are still naan left that I'm interested in, and at this price, I'd definitely like to return.
