蒲郡駅北地下街にある焼き鳥屋さんです。
野暮用で蒲郡くんだりまで足を伸ばしたついでに駅前で一杯やる事に。面白そうなお店ないか検索すると「日本一短い地下街」に飲み屋が数軒あるとか。
さっそく降りてみるとそこは地下街ではなく地下道。赤提灯の灯る雰囲気の良い焼き鳥屋さんに目をつけ入店です。
小さな焼き場を囲むＬ字型のカウンター席のみの小さなお店。クセの強そうな大将が賑やかにお出迎えです。
とりあえず瓶ビールとおまかせで焼き鳥を焼いてもらいます。小さな七輪でさっと炙っただけの焼き鳥。温かいですがほぼ生です。
そこへ生のキンカン（未熟な鶏卵）を潰して絡めて頂きます。衝撃の旨さ。いや、むしろなぜ今までなかったのだろう。
大将曰く毎朝豊橋まで仕入れに行く新鮮なお肉だそうで、この時期ならまず食中毒は心配はないんだとか。もちろんお腹の弱い人は「よく焼き」してくれるそうです。
ねぎまや肝などどんどん焼いてもらいましたがどれも新鮮で旨い。自ずと酒もどんどん進む。
いい感じに出来上がりお勘定。お会計もお値打ちで言うことなしです。昼間は喫茶店やってるからと名刺を頂きましたがこちらもとても惹かれますね。ごちそうさまでした。
