タクシー紀行の運転手さんの案内で連れて行ってもらいました。大正７年に東北有数の本格的な数寄屋造りの料亭として誕生した歴史を持つこのお店は、繁華街の近くにありながら落ち着いた佇まいで、外構から得も言われぬ趣を感じました。中には茶道裏千家十四代家元・千宗室氏が設計した茶室「有竹庵」などもありました。
きりたんぽ鍋がメインでしたが、比内地鶏の出汁がなんとも味わい深く上品でした。秋田名物の鰰（ハタハタ）もいただけました。
