JR秋田駅から徒歩15〜16分、車で5分。
川反エリアの繁華街にあるお店で、およそ60年の老舗のBAR。
秋田にはバー百名店が4軒もあり、全国100店のうち4店もある。
2006年にバーテンダーの大会を誘致してからバーが増えてきたのだとか。
店名の由来は、女性が入りやすくするためにレディという名前にしたのだとか。
当時は、女性がバーでお酒を飲む習慣があまりなく、
映画「マイフェアレディ」から命名したらしい。
素敵なマスターが教えてくれました。
デュワーズ ホワイトラベルをオーダー！
以前に大阪で迷った時にはデュワーズが良い。
何でもデュワーズを頼むと”通”だと思われると言われ、
それ以来迷った時はデュワーズを選んでます。
デュワーズは、スコッチ消費大国のアメリカでもシェアNo.1のウイスキーで、
世界で最も多くの賞を受賞したブレンデッドスコッチウイスキー。
ダブルエイジ製法を樽熟成させたモルトウイスキーとグレーンウイスキーをブレンドした後、そのブレンデッドウイスキーを再び樽の中で熟成させるので、なめらかな味わいにあるのだと。
ソーダ割りでも口当たりまろやかな感じ。
突き出しは、昭和の時代から変わらないサンドウィッチ。
お酒の歴史なども聞きながら、マスターの話が楽しかった。
