あいにくの雨模様ですが、例年の雪はなく歩きやすい今年です。仕事の研修会に参加して帰り道、久しぶりに親子丼を食べに寄ってみました。いつもながら雰囲気の良い店内で、空席もありすぐに入れました。地元が比内鶏のメッカということもあり、高校生の時に定期試験の帰り道に友達とご褒美に親子丼を食べてたのを懐かしく思い出しました。
注文から思ったより早く究極の親子丼が登場。半熟の卵が輝く中、炭火で焼かれた比内鶏が一体となって溶け込み、どこからスタートするのかを試されているのかと、レンゲを持つ手が一呼吸を入れます。噛むほどに旨みを解き放つ比内鶏は至福の塊、半熟卵をまとったご飯は官能的な旨さでした。
自分ご褒美といえば親子丼、また是非お邪魔します。
