角館駅前にある和菓子のお店。「もろこしあん」と読みます。「もろこし」とは「中国伝来の菓子」という意味だそうです。お店には多くの色紙が飾られています。イートインはありません。販売のみのお店。
店内で商品を眺めていると、緑茶と試食用の生もろこし三種詰め合わせ（生もろこし、もろこしあん、茶菓仙）を出していただきました。小豆を原料としていて素朴で美味しい。甘さは控えめ。
ふかしもろこし４個入り453円（税込）
「もろこし」の生地をこしあんで包んで蒸したもの。しっとりとした食感。これも素朴で美味しいですね。
これだけ美味しいのですから喫茶コーナーがあればいいのに、と思うのは都会人の発想なんでしょうね。新型コロナの影響で街中は閑散としています。このお店も苦戦してるように思えました。角館の桜の季節までにコロナが収束していれば良いのですけどね。
お店の方の感じも非常によく、気持ちの良いお店でした。
