特製塩ラーメン¥1100

秋田のレジェンド店と言われているこちらの店。花火のために大曲の街に降り立ち、10時ぐらいに朝ラー。流石にこの時間だと並びはなかった。
朝ラーメニューもあるのだが、デフォルトメニューも頼めるところが良い。1番人気という、塩ラーメンを注文。スープは塩と言いつつ、かなりコッテリ。サラサラな一般的なものではなく、トロットロ。鶏豚の動物系と煮干しなどの魚介系双方の質量をバランス良く感じる、濃厚スープである。麺は中細ストレートでモチっとした食感でスープと合う。トッピングはチャーシュー、味玉、海苔、糸唐辛子、ネギ。
塩の概念からは外れた、豚骨魚介寄りの美味しい一品だった。ただ真夏日なのにクーラーが全然効いてなくて(そもそも付けてない？)、汗だくになった。ツレは屋内なのに熱中症になりかけた。。後で昼過ぎに店の前を通り過ぎると5-10人ほどの列が。人気店なのは間違いないし味は確かなので、店内設備は見直して欲しい。
