県立美術館で奈良美智さんの青森犬やオブジェを見て、そのまま青函連絡船八甲田丸の中を探検し、船の前で石川さゆり・津軽海峡冬景色を聞く頃にはすでに夏の夕暮れでした。
連絡船時代には食べ物屋さんってたくさんあったはずなのに、ネットで調べてみても青森駅周辺にはこれといったところはなく、行列のおさない食堂にしても ほたて だけのようですね。
ならば観光客向けのレストラン、たぶん、で代表的なものを食べてみよう。
港の前の新しいビルの中に入りなんとか待たずに滑り込みました。
定食と十和田のバラ焼きを別注で。
ホタテの刺し身は◎
ホタテの貝焼味噌はけっこう薄味で上品な甘み。
バラ焼きはなるほどのお味
ふつーふつーふつーの名物でした。
でも一通り味わえてよかった。
