青森駅から、歩いて十数分、周りには、飲食店がない海に近い場所にある鰻屋さん。
お店は、昭和にタイムスリップしたみたいなお店で、近くに来たら、鰻を焼く良い匂いが漂っており、入る前から、期待大。
お店の中も、昭和の食堂の様な造り。
メニューは、鰻の量の違いで、特上鰻重：３切（一匹半）、鰻重上：２.５切（一匹１／４）、鰻重：２切（一匹）、鰻丼：１切（１／２匹）との説明があり、鰻重を注文。
メニューには、肝焼きは無いが、聞いてみたところ今日はあるとの事なので、一緒に注文。
先に、肝焼きが運ばれてきました。少し、焦げ目が付くくらいに炭火でやかれており、程よい苦味があり、久しぶりに美味しい肝焼きを食べました。
「うなぎはやっぱり炭火でなくっちゃ」と箸袋の裏側に書いてあり、この言葉通りと実感しました。
程なく、鰻重が運ばれて来ました。肝吸いと香物、そして果物のデザートまで。
お好みでどうぞとタレも、添えられています。
肝心の鰻は、程よい蒸しが入り、炭火で強めに焼かれおり、香ばしく美味しいです。
肝吸いの中の肝も、同様に香ばしく焼かれており、箸袋の言葉がまたしても、実感しました。
昔から、丁寧な仕事で、真面目にやって来られているのだと感じました。
接客もコストパフォーマンスも良く、また、再訪したいお店です。
