青森市にある昭和大仏を見た後、近くの蕎麦屋を訪問。落ち着きのある和のお店です。テーブル席にてかき揚げそばをオーダーし、待つこと数分で着丼です。
蕎麦は新そばということで香りがとてもよく、喉越しのよい柔らかい麺。おつゆは昆布などの和風出汁の効いたやや甘味のあるもので、塩分濃度ちょうどよく蕎麦と相性バッチリです。別皿提供のかき揚げはすごく大きくてビックリ。名物というだけあります。サクッと揚がっていて、具の種類が多いのが魅力です。ホタテの貝柱や烏賊、海老なども入り、これは毎回食べたくなる逸品です。麺もやや多めなので、お腹もいっぱいに。
なお、妻の食べていた釜揚げうどんも美味しかったです。どうもご馳走様でした。
