Since I was going to eat lunch in Aomori City that day, I wanted to eat a lot of vegetables, so I went to a tanmen restaurant a little outside of the city. I arrived just before the store opened, and the store was about 80% full. I bought a Tantan meal ticket from the ticket vending machine and took a seat at the counter. The tanmen arrived in about 10 minutes, the bowl was huge and there were more vegetables than I expected. This looks like it might be worth eating. Now, I take a sip of the soup, it has a light taste and some umami from the vegetables. This soup is easy to drink. The noodles are thick and chewy, and the noodles are hard when boiled. The vegetables have a nice crunchy texture. There are quite a lot of vegetables alone. It will fill you up. It felt less salty than the Kanto version, but I was able to really taste the vegetables. It seems that there are some menu items that will be discontinued from now on, so I hope they can survive this period somehow. It was a feast.
