Visited on Saturday, November 3, 2023, around 7 p.m. Dinner at Kappa Sushi in Aomori City. First, I wanted to drink beer, but since I was driving, I toasted with non-alcoholic beer. Sushi started with fatty sardines from Sanriku. They were fatty and had no odor, and were a big hit from the first plate. Next, we had flounder, seared salmon, and yellowtail. All were reasonably priced and delicious, and the bluefin tuna belly gunkan was also delicious with plenty of tuna. Since the tuna was delicious, we also had the fatty tuna. It's amazing that you can eat bluefin tuna fatty tuna for 100 yen per piece. And it's really delicious. The three seared pieces were shrimp, salmon, etc., and the last one was the delicious seared Sanriku fatty sardines that we had first. The salt was just right and it was seared, so it was juicy. Finally, we had the "Kikyō Shingen Mochi-style Kinako Whipped Pudding" for dessert and paid the bill. I love Shingen mochi, so this pudding that recreates the taste of Shingen mochi really resonated with me. Thank you for the delicious meal.
