平日の19時すぎに訪問、待ち時間ゼロ
青森駅前には魚介系の店が並んでいるが、せっかくなの大間のマグロが食べたい。ということで、たまたま通りかかったこの店を訪問。店内はカウンターとテーブル席の組み合わせ。ご夫婦できりもりされているらしい。
目の前のショーケースにマグロのサクが並んでいた。あらかじめ切り分けたものではない。大トロは脂が強すぎるので中トロ丼（1480円）を注文する。目の前で静かに調理作業が進む。丼、漬物、春雨サラダ、寒天、味噌汁の組み合わせ。中トロはちょうど好みの脂加減で、味わいも良い。普段は生臭い赤みばかり食べているせいか、マグロ本来の味を味わったような感じだ。サービスで大トロが一切れのっていたが、やはりこれを腹一杯食べるのは贅沢すぎる味である。ご飯が少し足りないかと思ったが、ビールがあればちょうど良いか。
マグロといえば、紀伊勝浦で食べたものが至極であったが、ここのものもまた良い。
