弘前公園の近くにやってきて"そうだ、アップルパイ食べなきゃ"と思いたった。でもな、土地勘無いし、この近くに美味しいアップルパイのお店あるのかな・・・と思いながらガイドブックを見たら、歩いて行けそうなお店を一軒発見。それが「珈琲 はなまる」さんでした。
仲町伝統的建造物群保存地区にあるこちらのカフェ、こじんまりしたローカルな喫茶店という印象。優しそうなオバサマ一人で営まれているようです。
先客が居なかったので、一人客乍ら四人掛けのテーブル席に陣取らせていただきました。「自家製アップルパイセット」(700円)を注文したところ、"紅玉と富士のどちらがいいですか"と質問されたので"甘い方"と答えました。そしたら「富士」が出てきた。

パイ生地はサクっというよりシットリ。リンゴはサイコロ状にカットされています。カスタードクリームが入っていますね。この甘さに癒される。優しい味のアップルパイ。お店の雰囲気同様、アットホームなパイでした。
