弘前駅構内の1階、エスカレーターの反対側にあります。幻の津軽そばから冷やしとろろそばを選んで650円。事前に津軽そばを調べていなかったので、コシのないちょっと変わったそばという印象でしかありませんでしたが、名物というものの多くはこんなものでしょう。店の前にある券売機でチケットを現金購入というシステム、カウンター10席ほどと従業員2名、そばを湯掻くだけで天ぷら等もその場で揚げている様子はなく、雰囲気も味も普通またはそれ以下の駅そばのようでした。競争がないせいでしょうか、普通のそばも都会の駅そばでの相場より高いようです。弘前駅で気軽に津軽そばを食べられるという点では便利ですので、興味のある方は事前に津軽そばについて調べてから訪問することをお勧めします。
