Sunday, May 31, 2020 1:35 Today, I stopped off in Osaki City, Miyagi Prefecture from Murakami City, Niigata Prefecture, and went to Kanagi, Goshogawara City, Aomori Prefecture, on Route 7, which took me to Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture, and stopped by Nakau 7-go Hirosaki Katata Branch. Actually, I arrived at Hanawa SA on the Tohoku Expressway at around 18:30, but the snack corner, which is supposed to be open until 19:30, was closed, so I had to wait until this store. Before that, I ate a Yakiniku (Grilled meat) rice burger at Iwadeyama SA, but it was too much for my stomach...?! I think it's the same for all transportation companies, but if you get off at the interchange after midnight, you get a 30% discount, so I think it's a rule to get off after midnight. So I haven't eaten anything for almost 12 hours. I went inside the store, bought a large Gyudon (Beef bowl) and small chilled tantan udon set for 900 yen from the food ticket vending machine, and sat at the counter seat. Then the staff said, "It will take more than 10 minutes because Gyudon (Beef bowl) will be simmered!?", but it can't be helped! After waiting for about 14 minutes, we were greeted. First, Gyudon (Beef bowl). It was freshly simmered even though it was late at night, so there were crispy onions and simmered onions, which was quite enjoyable! And it was good that it wasn't overcooked! Next, I had the small cold tantan udon noodles... Mmm, the spiciness was just right and it was delicious. It was a little small so it wasn't enough, but it was delicious! Thank you for the meal.
