前日、チェックインから夕食までお世話頂いた界津軽のスタッフの女性との会話の中で
道の駅である「サンフェスタいしかわ」が製造・販売している
アップルパイがお土産にオススメと伺って立ち寄りました。
売り場のスタッフの方に尋ねると「こちらです」と案内頂きました。
袋に1つづつラッピングされた大きなアップルパイは1つ200円。
え？！こんなに大きくて200円？！とビックリ。
手に持つとどっしり重みもあります。
夫の職場の方へのお土産+我が家の分を購入しました。
帰宅後 オーブントースターで温めてからおやつに頂きました。
アップルパイの生地がどっしりとしていて厚め。
中の林檎は紅玉を使っていらっしゃるのですが、こちらもたっぷり。
しっかりと甘さがあり、シナモンが香ります。
個人的にはパイ生地は薄い層が何層も重なったパリパリっとした軽めの食感で
バターを感じられるものが好きなので、好みのタイプとはちょっと違いました。
弘前は林檎の生産量日本一。
市内には40店舗以上のアップルパイを扱っているお店があるそうで
何軒か伺ってくれば良かったかなぁ～と。。。
それはまた別の機会があればですね。
