ある休日、アパートでウダウダしているのが嫌になり、思いつきで弘前を目指しました。翌日は仕事だし、MAX32℃という気温もあり、ちょっと町を歩くくらいにしようと思っての訪問です。去年の京都出張で「京都二寧坂ヤサカ茶屋店」を訪れましたが、弘前にも同じような店舗があるとのこと。これは行かなければ。
「弘前公園前店は日本有数の桜の名所である弘前城公園の目の前に位置し、日本で2店舗目となる登録有形文化財の店舗となります。1917年に陸軍師団長の官舎として建設された木造の建物で、和洋折衷のデザインが特徴的です。建物そのものの意匠を大切にし、地域の素材や伝統工芸をアレンジしながらデザインに取り入れることで、建物と弘前の歴史に敬意を払いながらスターバックスのコーヒーネスを表現しています。」
…ああ疲れた（コピペしただけｗ）市役所の隣、弘前城のお堀を目の前にした場所にお店はありました。駐車場は隣にあり、最初の1時間が無料、以降￥100／30分。あちこちにある他の駐車場もそんな感じでした。有数の桜の名所ゆえでしょうか。
1030頃で、すでに満席に近い店内。単身ゆえ席は確保でき、アイスのドリップコーヒーをショートで。タンブラー持参で￥20OFF。 この時間で、すでに外は湯の中にいるような暑さ。コーヒーの苦みと冷たさが心地良い！ クラシックなしつらえの店内を眺めながら、長距離運転の疲れをほどくことができました。
