Let's explore new territory! So I went to Karashi-tei. It's a restaurant that's been around for a long time, and it's always full, so I went there expecting it to be a popular restaurant♪ I didn't make a reservation, but a seat just happened to open up and I was able to go right in. After that, it was pretty crowded and there were a lot of customers waiting... I was lucky. This time, since it was my first visit, I ordered the usual menu. Top-grade short ribs, top-grade salted tongue, etc. The first thing served was top-grade Cow tongue tongue. I ate it with chopped green onions that I ordered on a separate menu. Wow, this salted tongue was delicious. The head was a little more than I was expecting. It was a good job for the price♪ I was expecting other meats, and the second dish was beef loin. It was so thinly sliced that I wondered if it was really loin. The thickness of the meat certainly varies depending on the restaurant, but the quality of the meat wasn't very good... Where did the excitement of Cow tongue go! The meat that was served after that was also mediocre in my opinion. Hmm, the first Cow tongue was the best... What a shame. Afterwards, I ordered regular loin instead of top loin to compare, but there wasn't much difference (sweat) My taste is not very reliable though. The meat shrinks a little when it's grilled, so I would like it to be cut larger and thicker. Sorry for being selfish! The innards also had a slight smell, and I'm full of regrets that I should have ordered it with sauce. However, the customer service was very good. Even though it was busy, the staff were very conscious. It was great that they always responded when I called. However, the inside of the restaurant was smoky. It's normal for Yakiniku (Grilled meat) restaurant to be smoky, but this was amazing. It's been a while since I've had the smell on my pants... is it because of the charcoal? I wonder if it caused a fire before? Gonohe is nearby, so the horse meat yukke was delicious ^^♪
