月曜の晩から八戸入りして、昼間は外回りして夕方はホテルで机仕事に追われて、
予算の都合もあって駅前のホテルの中の居酒屋とコンビニとで交互に晩ご飯をすませていたのが、
帰る前の日くらいは外へ食べに行こうと思い立って、夜の8時過ぎに外出。
客先の都合で、毎朝八戸線に乗らねばならないために、
繁華街から離れた駅前のホテルに投宿したせいで、
寂しげな駅周辺での選択肢は実に限られることに。
コンビニさえ駅から少し歩かされる中、そのコンビニ近くに目を付けたこちらのお店へ。
中はテーブルがあちこち間仕切りしてあって、自分のような独酌でも心地よい場所があり、
花金の店内の喧騒もさほど気にならない。店の人も始終忙しそうに動き回っているので、
注文するのも苦にならない。
メニューはどうやら北海道を意識しているようだったが、
ラーメンサラダあたりは、ちょっと違うかなと思わなくもない。
また、魚も品切れのものがちらほらありはしたものの、
日本酒は青森のものを面白く揃えていて品書きを見ているだけでも楽しい。
この晩の一皿はフキノトウの天ぷらだったけれど、
それ以上に多くのメニューでボリュームがしっかりしていて、
久しぶりに目一杯食べて、微醺と共に満足してホテルに戻れたのでした。
