I wanted to fill my stomach before boarding the ferry, so I went to Kappa Sushi, which I happened to be passing by, thinking that Conveyor belt sushi Sushi in Hachinohe might be good. It was around 6:30pm on a Sunday, but there were so few people there that I wondered if the place had closed. I went to the counter first. It seems that sushi hasn't been floating down the river lately, or rather, they don't seem to be floating it down when it's this crowded. It's not Kappa Sushi, but I ordered something similar to what you would get at a local Conveyor belt sushi chain in Saitama, and it didn't seem to be much different, but the sardines from Sanriku were very tasty.
