This time, I went to "Sake Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) Matsuzen", which is located a 3-minute walk from JR Hachinohe Station on the Tohoku Shinkansen. As the name suggests, this is a shop that not only has a wide selection of local sake from Hachinohe, but also serves local specialties such as sushi, sashimi, and Seafood Bowl from Hachinohe City, which is said to be a Seafood town. It was Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) you could drink alcohol. Our recommendations include Namida Maki, Shimesaba Sashimi, Gakko Cheese, and True Squid Sashimi, all of which are exquisite. There is also a wide variety of Senbei (rice crackers) soup and sushi, which are Hachinohe's specialty, as well as all kinds of delicious Seafood dishes, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The most recommended item was ``Namida Maki'', which, as the name suggests, was a nori roll with chopped wasabi that would bring tears to your eyes. Have you ever found yourself tearing up Sushi or sashimi, but for some reason you end up adding too much wasabi even though you think it's spicy? Wasabi has such an addictive taste in people's mouths, tongues, and hearts. Anyway, it was an addictive and exquisite scroll that you should try at least once. Shimesaba sashimi is a brand of mackerel from Hokugin, made from Hachinohe-mae Oki mackerel prepared with only salt and vinegar. It has no fishy odor characteristic of mackerel, and has a perfect combination of umami, sourness, and saltiness, with plenty of meat. It was exquisite. Sushi tasted like you would expect from a fishing port town. The quality is amazing at this price. All of the toppings have plenty of meat and are very fresh. It was an exquisite Sushi that had a strong sweetness and flavor, and was extremely cost-effective. It's easily accessible from the station, so it's a good place to stop by before taking the Shinkansen. [Menu I received] ・Namidamaki 380 yen per piece ・Homemade Shimesaba Sashimi 780 yen per plate ・Gakko Cheese 580 yen per plate ・Hachinohe Squid Sashimi 780 yen ・Special Sushi [1 serving/8 pieces] 3,280 yen Tuna, white button shrimp, scallops, amberjack, white meat, snow crab, raw sea urchin, salmon roe) ・High quality sushi with Sushi [1 serving, 8 pieces] 2,880 yen (tuna, amberjack, scallops, salmon, white meat, squid, snow crab, Raw Sushi urchin) ・Premium sushi with salmon roe [1 serving/8 pieces] 2,380 yen (tuna, amberjack, scallops, salmon, white meat, squid, snow crab, salmon roe) ・Comparison of rice wine drinking ・Comparison of HOUKAI only ・Comparison of Hachinohe sake drinking
