奥入瀬渓流の星野リゾートで一泊して冬の奥入瀬渓流や最高のフレンチ料理を満喫した帰りのランチで道の駅しちのへに併設されたレストランを訪問。券売機にて私は馬肉ラーメン、妻はシャモロックの親子丼の食券を購入し、待つこと数分で着丼です。
スープは野菜の旨味と馬の旨味が出たさらっとしたピリ辛味噌。馬の骨を使っているというスープに牛蒡などの旨味が合わさり、馬肉煮込みを思わせる味わいです。辛味はアクセント程度で辛い物が苦手な人でも大丈夫かと思います。野菜は炒められているので、香ばしい香りも楽しめます。麺は平打ち気味の中太麺で、スープとの相性良好。
具は、馬肉に炒めた野菜がたっぷりと入り、さらにフレッシュなネギ。馬肉は下からたくさん出てきます。柔らかく癖のない肉で美味しいですね～。野菜は地元七戸の新鮮な野菜を使っているようで、牛蒡、人参、玉ねぎ、モヤシ、キャベツ、きくらげなどを炒めたもの。野菜たっぷりなのが嬉しいです。具が多いので、割とお腹いっぱいになりますよ。
なお、妻の食べたシャモロックの親子丼は鶏の旨味強めの肉にとろとろ卵。親子丼好きにはおススメしたい逸品でした。どうもご馳走様でした。
