I attended a social gathering for a certain group, and this time we had a course meal. As always, it was very filling. The young people ate a lot. I, Maru, haven't been able to eat much lately. I've ordered two or three highballs, or at least a mega highball. This time, the stewed beef tendon and raw kimchi were delicious. The beef tendon was stewed until it was soft and tender, and I think it was the gochujang. It had a sweet and deep flavor, and it looked very spicy, but it wasn't. It wasn't salty or spicy. The gochujang flavor hit me first, and then the soft beef tendon spread in my mouth. It was delicious. Next was raw kimchi, which was unmarinated, so to speak, and it was seasoned with the same gochujang, and it was easy to eat because it had more water in the cabbage than the kimchi. It is a very wallet-friendly menu that fills you with two plates of broiled beef ribs, rice, and soup for less than 2000 yen. Be sure to try it when you visit Isshintei.
