千葉都市モノレール 葭川公園から歩いて数分のところにある。
この辺りは千葉の旧繁華街であり、老舗や寿司店が建ち並ぶところだ。
その中心にあるのが蓮池寿々女寿司である。
今回は会社の飲み会で使わせてもらった。
この廻りには蓮池丸万寿司もありどちらか悩んだ末、行ったことの無いこの店に決めた。
店構えは小ぎれいで雰囲気もいい。中に入ると店内は広い割にテーブルが小さく非常に窮屈な感じだった。
つまみ中心に頂いたが、チェーン店系の居酒屋とそれ程変わらない事、調味料を入れる容器を皿ではなくアルミカップで入れてくる事など、寿司屋としてこだわりを持って仕事しているとは思えないのには驚いた。
味わいもこれと言って特筆する物はなかった。
千葉では有名な寿司屋が無いに等しいだけに、是非がんばっていただきたいと思う。
