ちょうど旦那と前を通りかかったので、寄ってみることにしました。
旦那がパンケーキ好きなのでチェックしており、もしも席が空いていたら食べてもいいかな？と思ってのぞいてみると・・中は女性でいっぱい！！
残念ながら満席だったので、諦めて帰ろうとすると・・
「キャロットケーキがある！！」と旦那がポスターを発見！
どうやら、期間限定の様子。テイクアウト可能とメニュー看板に書かれていたので、
持って帰ることにしました。
テイクアウトをお願いし、包んでもらっている間にも若い着飾った女性二人組がやってきて、予約の有無を店員さんに伝えていました。
千葉駅の裏側というか、若干寂しい方にある小さいカフェという認識しかしていなかったので、
そんなに人気のある店とは知りませんでした。
キャロットケーキは、なるべくひっくり返らない様に慎重に持ち歩いて
自宅にていただきました。
しっとりふんわりした生地の、キャロットケーキで食感が良いです。
スパイスも、薄すぎず濃すぎず良い塩梅。シナモンがふわっと香ります。
人参は細かくすりおろされて生地に混ぜ込まれ、他には香ばしい胡桃、ラム酒漬けレーズン。
クリームチーズフロスティングも甘すぎず、結構美味しいキャロットケーキでした。
この日は祝日だったので、より混んでいたかもしれません。
タイミングが合えば、パンケーキかランチ辺りで訪問したいと思います。
