間と一緒に おいしいお野菜とおいしいお酒を楽しみました。 English: THE NEW YORK Bayside Kitchen is a All-you-can-eat buffet style Restaurants on the first day it opened, but perhaps because it had already passed the opening day, I was left with a less-than-great impression. Since then, I have heard a number of positive reviews about the restaurant, so I decided to visit for a second time as a revenge. I heard that the restaurant underwent a renovation shortly before my current visit, and that this had led to changes to the all-you-can-eat menu and other items. To get a general look around, I first headed to the curry area, where I found two types of curry: beef tendon curry and Thai curry. Next to that was Italian Cuisine food, with doria and penne, and for some reason, shumai next to that. Next to that was Noodles, where you can enjoy two types of Ramen, one with clam broth and one with Tokyo soy sauce. The next area was mainly Japanese-style meal, with vegetables, fish paste, fried tofu, etc. I looked around the whole area, but couldn't find any scenes of the "live kitchen" that is the concept of this restaurant. I wondered if the live kitchen is only for dinner, so I decided to try some of the dishes that caught my eye. First, a plate full of salad, followed by pumpkin potage soup. By the way, the salad was topped with three side dishes: Hamburg steak with demi-glace sauce, chicken nanban, and sausage, making it a salad full of meatiness. All of the vegetables were reasonably fresh, and there was a wide selection of dressings to choose from. On the other hand, the toppings, both Hamburg and chicken nanban, were cold and noticeably hard. After enjoying the generous salad, it was time for the side dishes and rice. I looked over the side dishes, but there wasn't anything that really stood out as a main dish. Instead, since there were two types of curry available, I decided to serve both together (commonly known as a dam serving). First, the side dishes were mainly pork Steak (limited to one per person), as well as braised pork, shumai, oden, etc. There was a limit on the number of dishes, so I was looking forward to the pork Steak, but it was disappointing. The meat was very hard, just like Hamburg and chicken nanban we had earlier. There were no Other side dishes worth mentioning, but the only thing that stood out was the braised pork. Perhaps because it was served at a good time, it was warm and I was able to fully enjoy the sweetness of the fat and the tenderness of the meat. The curry served on the other hand was a two-piece set: a chicken and coconut milk red curry and a beef tendon curry. I started with the beef tendon, but I didn't really taste the beef. It was a bit rich, like a school lunch curry, and the ingredients were mostly vegetables. The red curry on the other hand was surprisingly spicy. The aroma of coconut stimulated my appetite, and there was plenty of chicken. It felt a bit monotonously spicy, but it was an aggressive spiciness that is rare for a All-you-can-eat buffet like this. However, the flavor of the coconut and the Japanese rice didn't go well together, so it was a All-you-can-eat buffet lunch that was somewhat disjointed.
