Even though it was after 11:30 p.m. that day, the counter seats on the first floor in front of the griddle that surrounds the kitchen were almost full, so we took seats on the second floor. The second floor has about 4 tables and seats about 20 people. Teppan-yaki It is a pity that we can't see what is going on in the kitchen, but the second floor, which is a bit like an attic, is very exciting and reasonably spacious and comfortable. The portions are rather small, so you can order a lot of different kinds of food (even in the middle of the night)! Also, the seasonal menu changes frequently. The regular menu is good, but I recommend the paper daily menu. On this day, we ordered the following items from the paper menu. Avocado kimchi, 4 assorted skewered rolls, fried chicken with yam Teppan-yaki (mentaiko mayo), crab cream spring roll The first pic is the appetizer, which on this day was simmered motsu. It is called "motsu-ni" but it is good because it contains not only motsu but also chicken, radish, and other ingredients. I personally like the fact that the appetizer is a hearty dish! The contents of the dishes vary depending on the day. The crab cream spring roll was very wintery. Croquette The fact that it was not a crab cream spring roll was fresh and exciting, so I ordered it immediately upon first sight. Each spring roll was cut into two and filled with egg yolk and white sauce! I broke the egg yolk with a flourish and tossed it in well, but first I could taste the crab and scallion flavors of the bean paste. The crab, savory green onions, and the mildness of the egg yolk were a perfect match. The filling seemed to be stir-fried in sesame oil, which was also good. The white sauce looked like Caesar dressing. It was a little too much, and it seemed to drown out the aroma of the bean paste, so it might not be necessary to put that much on. ...... I also ordered the skewer rolls, which I saw for the first time here. I wanted to share the assortment and eat a variety of flavors, but I didn't expect to get 2 kinds x 2 rolls...(tears) Well, I guess it can't be helped ....... By the way, they were lettuce and mini-tomatoes. The taste was good as usual. The vegetables were cooked just right and I enjoyed the crunchy texture, and the simple seasoning of salt and pepper allowed me to enjoy the taste of the pork. I order this dish every time I go here, and I highly recommend their fried pork. The thin batter and well-seasoned, plump chicken meat will make your sake go down a treat. It doesn't smell like garlic, so I don't think it is suitable for everyone. Teppan-yaki of yam is one of my favorite dishes since I first encountered it at a certain yakitori chain restaurant. In the picture, the mayo on top is mentaiko mayo, but you can choose between the sauce and whichever you prefer. The one here doesn't have that much broth, and I feel like I'm asking for mayo on top. If the conditions are not good, the mayo will be a little too thick and sticky, so be careful. That is how I order a little bit of the menu every time. The bill for the day was a little over 3,000 yen/person, including refills of alcohol. It is not a special place, but it is easy to use and can be used on a regular basis! Since it's a light drink, I ordered a light dish, focusing on the famous Tonpeiyaki. The menu I received that day was as follows (I gave a ◎ to the most delicious items!). It looked like Chikuzenni, but it had a slightly sour taste and a Chinese-like seasoning, so I guess it's a different type Simmered dish. I thought the volume and the way it was done was perfect! You can expect a restaurant that has a good order. While I was enjoying Simmered dish, items other than Tonpeiyaki arrived all at once. I didn't mind the fact that the kimchi was made from leftover ingredients, but it had a surprisingly subtle taste...I felt like it lacked umami. The fried chicken is small, but the batter is thin and crispy, and the meat is juicy and delicious! It's good to have a good seasoning. The overall volume is small, but considering the price, it's worth it. Chopped wasabi is a good accent for fatty tuna. I was surprised at how generously the amount was spent. Small and hard type. Finally, the Omachikane Tonpeiyaki that arrived was so delicious that it exceeded my expectations! ! It's not cabbage or bean sprouts inside, but a chunky char siu! I noticed it after I broke it with my chopsticks, so I took a photo, but it's hard to tell because of the sauce and mayo (lol) The egg is also soft and fluffy, which gently complements the punch of the sauce. I want to eat this every time. I went out on a scouting trip, so I went home with just this, but there were many other attractive menu items, and I'm sure they'll all be delicious! The business hours are long for this area, and it seems easy to use. I want to visit again. The only disappointing thing was that there were people smoking at the counter seats on the first floor. I'd like to see the cigarettes being made up close, but I wonder about the cigarettes...
