この日の寄り道は、こちら。JR最寄り駅からは7、8分のところにありますが、モノレール沿いにたどっていくと、案外迷わずにお店に着くことができます。カウンターあり、個室はなさそう、主にテーブル席のお店のようです。オーダーはイマドキQRコードです。
乾杯は、泡。スペイン産カヴァ。飲みやすく、美味しい泡です。 こちらは店名にUMIとなっているように、海鮮物が充実しているようなので、まずは生牡蠣をいただくことにしました。
この日のラインナップは、右から兵庫県産、北海道産、長崎県産、大きさの違いにビックリ。お好みで特製たれあるいはレモンをかけていただきました。どれも美味しかったけれど、自分の好みとしては、身も大きくクリーミーだった北海道産が良かったかな。厚岸のものだったかは不明。
キールロワイヤル。カシスが好きなので以前はカクテルといえばこれが多かったかな。今はメインハイボールなので笑。久しぶりの甘めのカクテル。
UMIのカルパッチョ。サーモン、えび、白身魚、いか、いくらも入っていたかな、さっぱりとしたドレッシングがかかっていて、酸味がしっかりと感じられます。見た目も美しい一品。
もともと酸味のあるものが好きなので、追加で自家製ピクルス。シャキシャキした食感がサラダ代わりにも美味しかったです。
雲丹のクリームパスタ。雲丹が練り込んである濃厚なクリームソースで、パスタと絡めていただくと雲丹の風味が濃く、絶品パスタ。黒胡椒も少しきいていて、ほんのり辛みのあるのが良いアクセントになっています。クリームソースは後半飽きてしまいがちですが、黒胡椒のほんのり辛みが良かったです。
〆のデザートは炙り抹茶のバスクチーズケーキ。席でバーナーで表面を焦がして仕上げてくれます。抹茶の風味とチーズの絶妙なバランスが美味しいチーズケーキでした。
