幕張本郷駅を出た陸橋を北側に下ると左手に見える、
駅から近い距離にあるラーメン屋。というか、幕張本郷にあるラーメン屋
というのは知る限りここしかない。
近くにありながら自分は南口なので行く機会も無かったのだが、
仕事が早めに終わった日に行ってみた。
店に入るとほぼ満席。
こんなに人気があったのか、と驚いた。店外にも椅子があったから
もしかしたら並ぶこともあるのかな？
これは期待していいのだろうか？とメニューのアタマにあった
「コクしょうゆラーメン」630円を注文した。
出てきたラーメンは背油が少々浮いたラーメン。
麺が極細のちぢれ麺でここまで細いのは初めてだが、案の定、
食べているうちに伸びてしまった感じ。
スープを何口か試したのだが、どうも名前の「コク」は全く無くて
具として入っている茹で卵半分の黄身にも味が負けるほど
「ウス」かと・・・。客の残した丼を見たが、自分が見た限りでは
スープがそのまま残っているようだった。
ロケーションと寡占が生み出した繁盛なのか、とガッカリ。
