A Chinese restaurant that Japanese people love! You can enjoy Dalian cuisine at reasonable prices♪
A Chinese Restaurants in Kaihin Makuhari, 6 minutes walk from Kaihin Makuhari Station, where you can enjoy authentic Dalian cuisine prepared by a Chinese chef. Shanghai, Cantonese, Beijing and Szechua |
This restaurant is located on the first floor of the Sumitomo Chemical Engineering Center Building, which is thought to be one of the representative buildings in the Makuhari area. However, it is not located in the main building (a high-rise building), but in a single-story annex (?) that juts out into the square in front of the entrance. I visited the restaurant around 12:30 on a weekday. The daily set menu was posted in front of the restaurant, and was as follows (prices include tax). A. Mapo eggplant - 890 yen B. Bean sprouts and liver stir-fry - 890 yen C. Set of A and B - 990 yen I didn't use it, but it seems that coffee is self-service and free during lunch time. The interior of the restaurant seemed older than I expected. I later found out that the Sumitomo Chemical Engineering Center Building was built 29 years ago (1993), so they may have been occupying the restaurant since it was built. The restaurant was crowded with people who seemed to be working in the neighborhood, most of whom were men. I waited a little before being shown to a seat. I asked the waiter if the daily set meal C was half each of the dishes A and B, and he replied that it was more than half. I thought it might be too much for me, but the fact that I could taste two different dishes appealed to me, so I ordered the daily set meal C. The food was served 12 minutes after I ordered. The dishes were placed almost without any gaps on the tray, and at first glance, I thought it was too much for me. The mapo eggplant was mainly made of eggplant and onion, and the bean sprouts and liver stir-fry were made with bean sprouts, liver, carrots, bok choy, and chili peppers, but the seasoning was similar and I didn't feel any distinctiveness, so I was a little disappointed because I had been thinking of comparing them. The soup was light, and the two main dishes were rich, which I thought was good. Perhaps because of the seating arrangement, I couldn't relax and eat. However, it seems to be a restaurant that has been in business for a long time, so it must be a highly rated restaurant.
