A Chinese Cuisine that has been around since the Makuhari New City was built. I went there for lunch a few times about 20 years ago when there were hardly any restaurants in front of the station... It was so long ago that I don't remember the taste, but I also felt nostalgic, so I went for lunch after 12 o'clock. There is a menu along the street (at the back entrance of the restaurant) and checked it out. There are also plenty of single-item menus. They also sell several types of bento Bento (boxed lunch) for 550 yen outside! The interior of the restaurant has not changed since the old days, and it is a little deserted as expected. The restaurant was half full... and then around 12:30 it was almost full. There was only one person, so we were shown to a table for two and the waiter came immediately to take our water and order. I ordered the daily set meal set C. Most of the other customers were regulars and ordered single fried rice, Noodles, and stir-fried dishes without looking at the menu. ▪️Order Daily set meal set The set comes with Small dish, soup, dessert, and coffee. The main dish changes daily and can be selected from the following. A: Fried chicken with yulin sauce 890 yen (tax included) B: Spicy stir-fried cabbage and pork 890 yen (tax included) C: Both main dishes A and B 990 yen (tax included) Small dish of fried wonton, pickled radish Dessert Almond tofu Coffee Self-service ▪️Taste The fried chicken was cold...it looked like they had already cooked it all together (･･;) The spicy stir-fry had a salty base and a thick soup, and the soup was a little salty. Both were good as side dishes for rice, but... The almond flavor of the dessert was a little weak! ▪️Evaluation Has the level dropped from before? Was the set on this day not good? It's good that the set comes with dessert and coffee. The portions are generally large and filling, but... How about removing the dessert and Small dish and lowering the price? Today's set menu was a minus point for being pre-prepared! I should have thought carefully before entering the restaurant about whether to order the set? All the a la carte dishes seem to be freshly made, which is good. The bento Bento (boxed lunch) is also reasonably priced at 550 yen (tax included).
