Ramen Asahikawa Miso Ramen Ban Kara is located near the Takeishi Interchange on the Keiyo Road. Although I have used this restaurant in the past when it was known as Tokyo Tonkotsu, this is the first time I have had it since it was changed to the current Asahikawa Miso. The center of the bowl is topped with Kakuni, which is the symbol of this dish, and around it are bean sprouts. Ramen The soup is a light miso with a perfect ginger flavor. The sweet miso is combined with the spiciness of ginger. And the centerpiece of the toppings is a large kaku-ni (cubed stew). Although it is barely big enough to hold up with chopsticks, it is cooked so tender that you can easily get your teeth into it. The menu photo shows that cabbage and other vegetables were also topped, but even without them, it was a hearty bowl of soup that would satisfy me.
