しばいぬの独り言・・・
お店は、ＪＲ総武本線・船橋駅・南口から徒歩で行けるところ。専用駐車場なし、クレジットカード使用可、完全禁煙は敷いていない。ディナーの店内はやや薄暗く、創業３０年の老舗らしい（いい意味でくたびれた感のある）店構えと店内のところどころにしつらえた異国情緒を漂わせる細かな内装が雰囲気づくりに一役買っている。店内に入ると、「いらっしゃいませ」の元気な声・・・この日はフレッシュな印象の男性２名がホールの担当だったが、テーブルの状況にも目を配り、こちらのリクエストにも細かく対応してくれたりと、接客にもウェイトを置いているのがわかる・・・居心地がよい。予約の電話の際に対応していただいた女性にも細かいリクエストをさせていただいたが、当日それがしっかり反映されていたり、いつだったか、問い合わせの電話にシェフが対応してくださった際も非常に丁寧に対応していただいたりと、人気に驕らない、接客に対する姿勢が非常に好印象なお店である。さて、前置きが長くなったが、メニューに関しては、「魚介使い」に完全に偏ったスペイン料理店ではなく、しっかり山の幸をラインナップに並べてあり（魚介のパエリアしか作れ（ら）ないお店が多すぎる）、魚介ＮＧな自分たちにとっては非常に使い勝手が良い・・・しかも、どの料理も丁寧な仕上がりで、全体的にレベルの高い安定した味わいだったこともあって、しろくまは「前から訪問したかったのに」と叱責してくる始末・・・はいはい、わかりましたよ・・・ローテーションに組めばいいんでしょ・・・。

生ハムとスペインチーズのサラダは、赤ピーマン、レタス、水菜、グリーンオリーブ、トマト、スペインチーズ（ケソ・デ・カブラ）、生ハムという具材に、フレンチドレッシングにムラサキキャベツの酢漬けの抽出汁を合わせたオリジナルドレッシングを使用してあるのですが、非常にクセがなく食べやすい山羊チーズのクリーミーさと、厚めの生ハムの塩気が非常にマッチしていて美味しかったです・・・初っ端からテンションが上がりました。マッシュルームのセゴビア風は、非常にシンプルな料理ですが、「美味しかった」というコメントしか思いつきません。本来なら、パンを注文してオイルに浸して食べるところですが、このあとのパエリアに備えて自粛しました。スパニッシュオムレツは、３種盛りで提供されました。ニンジンのムース、ホウレンソウ、インカのめざめをそれぞれの具材の主体に置き、いずれもベーコンを合わせてあります。一番のサプライズはニンジンのムースでしょうか？ スパニッシュオムレツというと、ジャガイモがスタンダードな料理でしょうが、こういうオムレツを提供してくるところに創作力を感じますね・・・美味しかったです。ソーセージと野菜のパエリアは、メニューにない料理ですが、特別にシェフにお願いして提供していただきました。具材には、ソーセージ数種、インゲンマメ、ジャガイモ、ナス、ニンジン、ピーマン、赤ピーマン、ベーコンがごろごろ入っていて、これら彩り野菜と黄金色のサフランライスのコントラストも非常に美しく、お米のアルデンテの部分とそうでない部分の対比やおこげも楽しめて、非常に満足感のあるパエリアでした。さて、こちらのお店、ハイレベルな老舗の味を堪能できますね・・・ほかのスペイン料理店にないオリジナリティも感じますし・・・うん、いいお店です。
