船橋のアッサムが閉店して、この周辺カレーショップも減りつつあると思いながら、数十年来の再訪。
ランチのチキンカレーセットを注文。

船橋の先にある、大神宮下という地。
駅を出て、船橋大神宮を横目に、某有名なカレー店が窓全開で営業していることを確認し、
ようやく目標の店へとたどり着く。
約半年前、とあるラーメン屋さんへ足を運んだものの、
ほんのひと足の差で閉店お知らせの告知を目にして、ショックを受けた。。
この店も、前回訪問からかれこれ数年が経ってしまった。
ポイントカードも、すでに失効している。
感染拡大対策が施された、万全の店内。
ランチセットの、チキンカレー(大盛り) 940円[税込]。
サイドにはサラダを選択、たまねぎアチャールをリクエスト。
サラ～ッとしたルーには、煮込まれたスパイス陣と野菜が溶け込んでいる。
チキンの肉も柔らかく、大盛りにした白飯にはよく合う。
自家製と思われるオレンジ色のドレッシングは、
インド料理店などでランチタイムに供されるモノに近い。
たまねぎアチャールは、辛味が抑えられているものの、箸休めにイイ。
久しぶりに、サーラのカレーを満喫させていただいた。
