いろいろいただきました。
お寿司をくいたんだーと思って、手軽に夜遅くでも頂けるこちらに訪問。
お寿司を求めつつも、旬っぽさのある、うなぎの肝串、ホヤ酢をいただいてみました。熱燗とともに。
うなぎの肝串はけっこう脂が付いててジューシュー。この脂多めなのがいいうなぎの肝の感じかは知らないですが、まあ、お酒にはとても合いますね。美味しかった。
そして、ほや酢。カウンターの職人の奥に水槽があって、どうもそこにほやがいるようなので、そこから出したものでしょうか？(ちょっと見てなかったです) ほや自体はたべれるし、何回か捌いて食べたことあるくらいには気になる大人食材って感じですが、どうにも苦手意識はまだあるという状態です。それをお店で美味しいのいただいて、自分の中のスタンダードを作ろう的な目論見があります。
さて、満を持して食べてみましたが、まあ、今まで自分で捌いて食べたほやとそこまで変わりませんでした笑 やや、もみじおろし酢はさっぱりして食べやすいのかも？ 慣れもあると思うので、また夏のうちに何回か食べてみようかと思います。
そういえば、食べつつ調べたら、ほやは5味(甘い・辛い・酸い・苦い・塩辛い)が全部ある食べ物らしいです。たしかに、だいたいあるような。でも、そこにこそ食べ慣れない気持ちわ、もとい、落ち着かなさがあるのかも笑
その後は、お寿司(いか、うに、はまち、ほたて、げそ、かな?)を軽くいただきました。少し思ったのは、ちょびっと昔よりネタが薄いかなということです。
冬にこちらでホタテ食べてすごく身が厚くて美味しかったのですが(記憶違いかもですがそう感じたということで)、なんとも寂しい感じのペラペラ感。ホタテは夏に貝柱が旬なので期待した分ちょっと拍子抜けでした。
はまちもはまちっぽいこってりを感じるというより、ネタの薄さでアジくらいのさっぱりさに感じてしまいました。うーむ。飲食業値上がり事情なんでしょうか？
イカはねっとり感あるくらいには厚くてよかったです。ウニは先味がちょっとだめな匂うウニになっていて、これまた冬に食べた時の方が美味しい感じでした。
土曜日に行ったのがよくなかったのかもしれないので、ぜひ次回は平日夜に行きたいと思います。あ、げそはツメがイカ風味してて嬉しい作りでした。
