I was looking for Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) in Nishi-Funabashi around 8pm. It was really cold that day, so I was wandering around looking for motsu nabe. I found "Juuya" which is about a 2-minute walk from the station! The restaurant was quite crowded, but we were able to enter without waiting. There were only two of us, but we were guided to a spacious box seat! We toasted with beer and immediately ordered motsu nabe! There were three flavors, and we chose white miso! We ordered various snacks while waiting for the motsu nabe to be ready. They were all served on small plates so as not to take up space! The taste was also good! The main dish of motsu nabe was consistently delicious. The motsu was bigger and plumper than I expected! We ordered Champon noodles for the final dish! It was just as delicious! We drank 4 or 5 bowls each and it cost just over 6,000 yen per person. I was surprised at how much we got, but it was a satisfying restaurant! Thank you for the meal.
