French cuisine Restaurants and cafe where you can enjoy local ingredients
A French cuisine Restaurants with a warm atmosphere. Reservations are required for meals. All the dishes created by the chef working closely with the customers and the ingredients have a gentle flavor |
When I went to Kanmi-Dokoro (cafe featuring Japanese-style sweets) on the 5th floor of Tobu, I saw on the menu that Tokoroten used this watermelon syrup, and I realized that it was the shop I was interested in. I looked up the business hours, looked at the website, and thought it was okay. I thought I came on a day...but I found out that lunch is only open by reservation...did I read that? I thought that I had no choice but to go home, but the chef told me that there was no salad on the menu that was sold frozen, but that he could prepare it for me, so I decided to have that. Instead of a salad, they served me Funabashi carrot potage. They say they use Funabashi seaweed in their homemade bread. Is the main chicken piperado from Kochi? He told me that he had a relationship with a tomato farmer in a place where the water is very clean, and that he was able to purchase tomatoes and make them when they are in season and delicious. The chicken is also like Katori City's branded chicken. Perhaps because it was a one-on-one session, he explained things very carefully, and his passionate explanations showed that he was particular about the ingredients he used, and that he really loved making delicious food, and he was a wonderful chef with a great personality. ♡ The chef seems to have experience and a proven track record, so the prices are on par with those of a high-end Restaurants, but I think it's reasonable if they're particular about their food. I also bought some pear and strawberry jam from the Funabashi selection. Lunch and jam were delicious! ! Thank you for the meal!
