昼飯はチョイと寿司でもとこちらに。京成船橋駅前の便利な立地。お店の雰囲気は昔ながらの回転寿司といった雰囲気。
まずはマグロから食べ始める。マグロらしい風味のある旨いバチ的な赤身。次いで品書きにある"磯ツブ"が気になり注文。提供されたのはイソではなくロシアツブ的な物で「まあ、普通に考えてそうだよな…」といったところ。
数の子は回転寿司にありがちな既製品ではなく、一応本チャンの数の子。このお値段でいただけるのはかなりお得感がある。ブリストル的ながら歯ごたえはカナダにも近く、コリコリ感が楽しめる。
対して軍艦の数の子は既製品的な風味の物でこれはこれでまた旨い。
白身で面白いのはカラスガレイ。エンガワはどこの回転寿司店でもなかば定番ながら、身を提供しているお店はかなり限られる。カラスの身質からして水っぽいかとも思われたものの、食べてみるとそうでもなく、最後に感じられるほのかな甘味がカラスの魅力か。
ゲソはボイルの紋ゲソで甘味があり旨いもの。個人的には既製品の生ゲソ(ヤリイカゲソパック20入)より、はるかに好みなので嬉しいところ。
他、浅羽の煮付けや、キンメの昆布締め炙りなど、酒飲み向けの一品料理も充実しており、外観以上にメニューにも気合いの入った魅力あるお店であった。
