習志野に買い物に来たついでにシタルさんに寄った。
こちらも5年ぶりの訪問以来かな。
最近久々の店に行くことが多い。
シタルさんは西荻窪にも店があり、そこに先に行き支点の存在を知って北習志野店も訪問。
結構な量が出てきます。
この日は13時30分ごろ訪問。
大雨で3月なのにかなりの寒さ。
店の前は静かだったが、店に入ったら5〜6組の先客がいて、活気がある。
席に着き、早速注文。

・メディーススペシャルランチセット
・スペシャルモモ
C Lunchはナンとパーパドが付いていて、レディーススペシャルランチにはチーズナンが付いている。
カレーはシュリンプカレー、チキンカレー、バターチキンカレー、豆カレー。
これをシェアして食べる。
まずサラダとマンゴラッシーが登場。
サラダのスパイスドレッシングが美味い。
生野菜嫌いでも食が進む。
スペシャルモモが到着。
インドの餃子に似たものと言われても、ここまでフォルムが餃子だったことはないかも、と言うくらいの水餃子。
つけタレがスパイシーなので、インド料理という認識になるが、宇都宮で出されたらスパイシー餃子になる。
続いてタンドール料理が到着。
シークカバブ、タンドリーチキン、チキンティッカがワンプレートで盛られていた。
チキンが大きい。
焼き野菜が敷かれており、これだけで一つのメイン料理になる。
最後にカレーが到着。
ナンは結構大きく、生地ははフワッとムチっとしていて美味しい。
タンドールでの焼き立てを提供してくれている。
チーズナンも大きい。
これでもかと言うくらいチーズが入っているので、密度が高い。
しかしなぜレディースセットに量の多いチーズナンだろうか？
他のインドカレー屋さんでもレディースセットがあり、何故かチーズナンである。
インドでは女性向けはチーズナンなのかな？
全てを平らげたが、腹いっぱい。
夜も食べずにこの日は苦しくて終了。
