とあるイベントで知り合った方が船橋でタイ料理屋をしているというので、知り合ったののも何かの縁と思い、
そこの常連である共通の友人にお願いし、予約をしてもらった。
人生2回目の船橋。
思った以上に栄えているし、いい感じの赤提灯や、個性的な店が多い。
目的の店に向かう途中、女子プロレスラー長与千種の「リング・サイド」なる飲み屋が気になった（昔、湯島にあった気がするんだけど移転かな）。
お店は外観を工事中なのか、看板がない。
中に入ってもいい意味で雑多な感じで、路地裏のローカル食堂みたいな雰囲気でいい。
こちらは元フレンチのシェフがタイで知り合ったタイ人の奥様にほれ込み、結果的に二人で日本でタイ料理屋をするに至ったという
ドラマチックな背景があるお店。
先ずはビアシンハーで乾杯。
まだまだ蒸し暑い夜に東南アジアのすっきりしたビールが合う。
料理はお任せ。
・小松菜の生春巻き：小松菜はこの辺の特産品らしく、小松菜を取り入れたフード、ドリンクの種類が多いのも特徴。契約農家から直送の新鮮な小松菜はえぐみがなく、
シャキシャキとした食感とライスペーパー独特の食感とマッチ。
・ヤムナン ムー；茹でた豚の皮、揚げたお米、窓の外に植えてあったちぎりたてのハーブのサラダ。コラーゲンの塊である豚皮の独特の食感、香ばしいおこげの食感のコントラストがいい。
酸っぱ辛いソースにミントのフレッシュな香り。
・ナムトック：タイ式豚バラ炒め。脂が旨い、誰でも好きなやつ。
・トムヤム ホンビノス：トムヤム クンのクンはエビの意味なので、そのホンビノス貝バージョン。ホンビノスもこの辺の特産らしい。
・パッキーマオ：パクチーを練りこんだ自家製モチモチ麺で焼きそば。この麺が美味しい。販売して欲しい。
・自家製わんたん：パクチーを練りこみ、案にもフレッシュパクチーが入った、ぱくちスト垂涎の一品。
・デザート：練ったもち米、ココナッツ、ピーナッツをバナナの葉でクルミ、炭火で蒸したもの。初めて食べたけど、何だか懐かしい味。マレーシア辺りで同じようなものを食べた気も。
ドリンクはビアシンハー以降、ハイボールならぬ、タイボール。
タイ産のラム酒のソーダ割り。
地元の食材を取り入れつつ、しっかりとした技術でオリジナリティのある、昇華されたタイ料理が堪能できた。
